TV Reality Show Leads to SoCal Arrests (beat up homeless guy)
this is an area i sometimes work in and i know of the girl involved. not too long ago i had to call the cops about a guy she was hanging out with. and the guy Erich mentioned in the article below was caught puking on a cop in that reality tv show.

<Hermosa Beach residents Erich Lorenz, 22, James Ryan, 19, and Natalia Aguilar, 19, are accused of attacking the man around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of The Strand, according to Sergeant Robert Higgins of the Hermosa Beach Police Department.

The suspects allegedly punched and kicked the man repeatedly, knocked him to the ground and took his state disability money, worth approximately $200, along with other personal items.

One witness told police he recognized Lorenz from an episode of the police reality show, "Ocean Force-Hermosa Beach." On that episode, which was filmed in July 2007, Lorenz was arrested for public intoxication, according to the report.

Using information from the show, officers were able to track down and arrest all three suspects in the area of Lorenz's residence.

Higgins said the suspects also had the victim's money and other valuables in their possession at the time.>

1. Fucking douchebags.
Someday I'll get to "witness" something like this, and the police report will be very different.

Ocean Force is a pretty cool show, too.

3. Actually 5 years ago this was happening in the area I was managing a rooming house in
A family with young thugs had moved into the area and the thugs started robbing the homeless people that stood on the corner with their work for foods signs. I moved out of town soon after so I don't know how bad it got but since I moved back I notice the homeless are no longer hanging out in that area.

4. I know how stupid it is to diagnose mood (and brain function) from a picture,
but when I look at all three of those mugs I get the strong feeling that they think they're the ones being picked on.

Fucking pricks - I hope the judge that deals with them takes a very strict attitude...
