Obama giveth, Corporate America taketh away . . . |
|
CNBC Ticker: PE Obama: My first task is to put people back to work.
Ticker 2 minutes later: GE to reduce head count at GE Capital by 7,000 to 11,000 in 2009.
Well, isn't that just bitchin'.
Can someone tell me WHY we're not invading gated communities and dragging these greedbags out in the streets?
Do board members and major shareholders think we're just going to be able to conduct "business as usual" and think America is going to survive somehow?
Do people think "this is just like any other economic cycle" and "this too, shall pass"?
You know what the old Judas Priest song said . . .

1. Do they really care if America survives? |
|
They used patriotism and nationalism to get us to fund their wars and their business ventures, but they've never fallen for the America Is Number One!!11 routine.

Which is why the country needs to MAKE them understand.
I'm thinking that at the rate we're going, sooner or later the line is going to be crossed, and when that happens America's people are going to get pissed beyond marches, demonstrations and such, and they are going to go out tell these rich motherf**kers the new deal - you are Americans too, you're paying your fair share, and if you even try to take that from us, you'll be dirt poor, in jail or dead. Figure out how to pay your fair share in taxes and employ Americans - OR ELSE.
