Wow, I just saw Bob Woodword !!!
I wanted to get a real Coca-Cola from the Mexican restaurant near where I work and all these media trucks were parked outside and I went in and there was a memorial service going on for Mark Felt (Deep Throat from the Watergate days for all you young uns out there)! I never thought I'd see this day when I was riding the bus way back then and people were talking about Nixon and Watergate going down.

Man...that made my day !!!!!!! Thank you Mark Felt !!!!

I hope they get around to my memorial service sooner than a month after I pass. But perhaps I wont really care after all.

2. Where was the memorial service held?
Felt was my neighbor at the Watergate at Landmark condominium in Alexandria. He was a pig, despised by everyone.

So, where was the service held? I'm curious.

3. At the Glaser Center in Santa Rosa, CA where he had been living.
I remember when the news broke that he lived here I went driving by his house just awe struck. Mark Felt HERE, in this town!!!! Wow. It's still going on and all kinds of cars and trucks are outside. Some of the people I work with didn't know who he was. I sure set them straight so they scurried on over there. I signed the guest book.

4. Thanks.........
I thought maybe you were in DC, and I wondered what place would be near a Mexican restaurant. I couldn't think of any.

Yeah, he was living with his daughter. Before you get lost in your hero worship, remember that his reason for ratting out the White House was because he was passed over for FBI chief. He was simply an angry, vindictive man, which worked to the benefit of the American people. But, keep in mind that he was also convicted of violating the civil rights of people who were protesting against America's involvement in Vietnam. Only a Presidential pardon - thanks a lot, Ronny Raygun - sort of (ha!) redeemed him.

He was an FBI thug first, and a patriot by accident, born purely out of personal rage.
