Poll question: Tough choice: Steelers/Ravens at home with raucus Steeler fans, including me, or... |
|
or a last-minute, unplanned, seat-of-the-pants 3-hour drive to DC to watch a concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial featuring Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, U2, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Renee Fleming, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp, Usher Raymond IV, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, will.i.am, and Stevie Wonder?
I don't mind missing the Eagles/Cardinals game.

4. No, I don't see your dilemma. The answer is obvious! |
|
C'mon, were going after the one to start the next hand. The one that will put us above the 49ers and Cowboys! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hL4jP1OoaY0&feature=related

6. This is the reasoning that's running through my head right now because |
|
the friends I watch the game with will be a sad bunch indeed if the Steelers lose (sacrilege!). There would be tears, even. But, if they win, I can watch the game on repeat and then see them in the Super Bowl.
I have never seen any of the performers listed and like most of them.

7. Yeah, I've changed my reasoning in the interem, though ;) |

Hence the edit. (For anyone else, my original reasoning was, "If the steelers lose, you'll be glad to have missed the game, if they win, you'll get to see them in the Superbowl which is way more important anyway, and either way Obama's only going to have his first inauguration once.)

8. Miss watching the Ravens play? |
|
To listen to Beyonce? There's even a question about which one to do? Man, do you know how cold it's going to be in DC tomorrow, with the security hassles and road closings - and no alcohol. At least at the football game you can self-medicate.

9. Football for sure! If you want that concert experience, just go stand out in the cold |
|
with your ipod for an hour or so...
(I'm biased however, because I like very few of those performers - with a different lineup I may change my tune.)
