Some right wing kid on Dr Phil just said the media pushed Obama through myspace and Facebook |
|
Does the media control Facebook and myspace?

5. um ... I would say he does ... |
|
if he doesn't want to get into some serious trouble, like kiddie porn or death threats, he does control the content ...
The host of the site can get in serious trouble for having it on the site, even if it's some idjit posting it ... hence, you get a lot of youtube vids shut down, if some person's "sensibilities" are offended ...

6. Hmm good point - I was thinking he would only control the ads |
|
But seriously. Do you believe the media used Facebook and myspace to push Obama?

7. Considering that the majority of social network users are young people.... |
|

I would say they would rather it were a conspiracy than have it be the unthinkable truth: that young people were involved heavily in this election and they overwhelmingly preferred obama over mccain.
Anyone who thinks the media swoons over Obama's every word is in danger of rewriting history:
Rev. Wright 11th hour "Illegal Auntie" Gate Acorn the "is he a natural born citizen?" flap michelle and "whitey"-gate bill ayers "he's black!" "but is he black enough?" "he's too black!" "mortgage" -gate
To me, it is arguable that Obama was elected despite the press.

10. I saw the preview ads for this on TV and seriously, WTF? |
|
Why did Dr. Phil even do this show?
Total complete silly season, as Obama would say.
All he did was give some wingers air time to spout their ridiculous, mindless crap.

11. Because Dr Phil is a right wing fool - and tool |
|
He grew up here. Went to high school not far from where I live. So I know people who knew him and his family. He is a conservative republican.
