Interesting take on values, formed watching PBS newshour. Mentioned how important |

valued are for Obama, how his were formed by his unique upbringing, how it is a good approach for continuing the mending of race problems in the country - a good discussion, led by Gwen Ifill, with a very good panel.
Then I thought about what an utter Values vacuum Bush was - think about his values - snarkiness, greed, hubris, selfishness, ignorance, lack of curiosity - no wonder we are so totally screwed, after 8 years of a values cesspool.
Ironic that the so-called party of values that were in charge (so to speak) for the last 8 years would have no idea what they are!

Up is down, black is white, good is bad.
Those people had values that only enriched them in terms of perceived power and finances. Anything else didn't matter to them, and, if it suited them, they crushed it.
Ultimately, I think they were nothing but cowards. Yellow, whining cowards, mad with their own power, eager to destroy anything that didn't worship them.
They are going to look worse and worse the longer they're gone, I am starting to believe.
