I remember Bush's first parade. Everybody was watching like it was a funeral. It was the beginning of the separation of the people, the regular public was separated from Bush's hand-picked cheering section.

If there's going to be a parade, what time is it scheduled for?

2. There was egg throwing at Bush's parade
Instead of getting out of the limo and walking part of the route, they hit the gas.

5. And the Washington Post
and all the local TV stations DID NOT report one word about the egg-throwing.

I'd never have known about it if not for the Internet tubes.

So much for that "liberal media bias," eh?

6. I still have all the video of it.
It was a cloudy day, shitty weather, shitty mood.

Lots of "Hail to the Thief" signs. I remember, they were everywhere afterwards for months. In people's windows, stuck on the sidewalks, all over the light poles. It was great!

The whole thing really set the tone for his whole presidency.
