I note that the corporate media edited out or ignored all the Boos |
|
and chants. I can't wait till "the peoples media" starts showing the videos on the internet tubes.

I saw several signs like those. I flipped through a lot of channels to check the coverage. The signs could not be missed. :)

This day was about Obama and a renewed hope in America. The last thing I wanted the media to focus on was anything even remotely related to bush, aside from the chopper getting his ass the hell away from the White House

...since Obama has pretty much said that we're going to look forward, not backward (meaning he's not going to go after Bush/Cheney for their many, MANY crimes against this country and the world), and no other person currently in power has enough of a spine to do it on his/her own (except Dennis, who's consistently shouted down by the maintainers of the status quo), I think the people should take EVERY opportunity to let the world - and especially America's leaders - know that we are NOT happy with what happened over the last eight years, and that we will NOT forget it. There is no better time or place to do that then Bush's last public appearance as a person of relevance.
