It's Very Sad That This Shining Moment For President Obama
had to be touched by the Illness of Colleagues. I've heard that President Obama is very close to Senator Kennedy. Obama seems like such a nice person, surely he's concerned.

1. I will say with certainty that Obama is more concerned about the welfare of Teddy
than he is about this being his shining moment.

2. Sending good thoughts to Senator Kennedy.
He's a tough guy, and he's worked long and hard to see this moment, but he still has things he needs to do, and he knows it. I don't think he's going to check out now, he'll want to hang around a while longer to enjoy what lies ahead.

Today has been very emotional for many people. That can be very draining, especially to older people and those who aren't in tip top health.

Get well soon, Ted.

3. Life is not perfect. Teddy is in good hands and the day continues.
Rockefeller said the president was immediately at Kennedy's side. We're all in good hands now. :grouphug:

4. This just illustrates the profound stress the last eight years have
had so many, especially those with weakened immune systems. The only
person that appears least impacted is responsible for all of it.
