Has Shrub demonstrated an Abuse Of Power greater then any other Pres in U.S. History? |

Many of us rant and rail against our egomaniac Pres out of a deep sense of frustration. Many threads today have called b.s. on Shrub reducing the will of Congress and a vast majority of We The People to "political theater."
I continue to be astounded at what feels like contempt from the executive branch for our legislative branch. Shrub can't even muster the slightest acknowledgment that the vote today was reflective of a sentiment shared not only by DEMS and a few rethugs on the Hill, but many Americans from all walks of life.
Maybe it's because we are living in these times, but I can't imagine any administration in U.S. history that has been more secretive and demonstrated a total disregard for checks and balances. He acts as if the vote last November which shifting power to the DEMS, along with an approval rating in the toilet pushing 30% as completely irrelevant. Nixon abused his power; but at least he knew that when the writing was on the wall regarding his criminal conduct, he had to resign. Resigning took a modicum of humility or at least some common sense; two characteristics I see no where in Shrub's persona.
Even if 10 million people marched in protest to the steps of the Capitol, Shrub would not see or hear them. He can't see beyond his own reflection.

Bush makes Nixon look like a jay walker in comparison.
Yet, we do NOTHING about it.

that don't give a damn about what ANYONE else thinks. Unless Congress can amass enough evidence to impeach BOTH of these criminals, we're stuck with 2 more years of their very serious antisocial personality disorders and the resulting mayhem they cause. It doesn't get any worse than this!!!!

6. We've certainly had criminals in power before... |

...along with cronyism, profiteering and demagoguery. But it's never been this bad or this dangerous. It's never threatened the planet with destruction like with this gang. No matter what happens in the future, and I expect them to go away quietly in 2008, if they know what's good for them, I will be able to say that I saw the brink.
