I am working on posting a thread of all of my photographs (and some ruminations) from the swearing-in ceremony and the parade and my other experiences today as soon as I can get it all together. I am very tired (up at 5:30 a.m.) and my feet and legs are killing me, but I had to post this one photograph, taken as I walked beside the Museum of the American Indian along the National Mall, as soon as I could for all my fellow DUers. I did not realize what I was taking a picture of as I was taking it, but Keith Olbermann on his show tonight, and several news articles from the Web, confirmed for me based on my time code that this is George W. Bush leaving the U.S. Capitol by Marine helicopter, and thus The White House and Washington D.C. forever in the capacity of the pResident.
