God Bless You, President Bush and thank you.

(they DO call outgoing Presidents “presidents” until they leave this earth, do they not?)

Bush was my kind of President. When he made up his mind, it happened. Saddam had buffaloed the UN seventeen times, that was until Bush said enough is enough and took him out. I never lost faith in him as president.

Thank you for your service, Mr. President. You did lead with conviction and most of the time stood strong although the MSM tore you apart at every turn. Thank you for making the tough decisions that kept our country safe and thank you for sticking to your pro-life principles.
May your retirement bring you much happiness.

Saddam had buffaloed the UN seventeen times, that was until Bush said enough is enough and took him out.
And for that, Pelosi and Reid want him in an orange jumpsuit for life...

One thing is certain about President Bush. He is a man of character and class. That’s more than can be said about his replacement.

I thank God for GW. I can’t even fathom what our world would look like today if Gore had won. I wish the Bushs’ only the best. They were a class act. Never did President Bush deserve the treatment he got from the media @holes and the pukes in hollyweird. I’m glad they’re back where they belong. I know they were ready.

1. Eleven percenters.
You can find 11 percent of the population that'll support just about anything.

9. "kept us safe"
Patetic cowards. Aren't they so "strong willed or patriotic"? Wait... so long as brave kids, the poor, and the jobless forced into the military fight the war for them.

13. Yeah, that's one of the sentiments that I still really don't get.
If he really "kept us safe," then why did 9/11 happen on his watch? Because it was really the Clenis that ignored the memo, or something? Meh. Some things I don't think I'll ever understand.

11. That last one is spot-on absolute truth

I thank God for GW. I can’t even fathom what our world would look like today if Gore had won.

That's right. You cannot fathom what a world of intelligent discourse, consensus, empathy, and justice for all would look like. You cannot fathom what a world in which disagreements do not immediately lead to violence would look like, because you are incapable of using anything other than the reptilian part of your brain. You cannot fathom what a world in which countries work together, in which the poor are elevated out of poverty, in which the oppressed are freed, and in which the least of people are given a fair chance.

And the worst part of this is - you consider yourself to be the world's most amazing Christian, even though the "things you cannot fathom" are everything that Jesus told us to fathom.

You are so right. You, the so-called "Super Christian", simply and absolutely cannot possibly ever comprehend what the world that Jesus calls for would look like. Because although your lips say "Jesus! Jesus!", your heart and your actions say "Fear! Xenophobia! Hate! Selfishness! Fuck everyone who isn't me! Racism!!"

I wish the Bushs’ only the best. They were a class act.

In the sense of having absolutely none, you are correct.

Never did President Bush deserve the treatment he got from the media @holes and the pukes in hollyweird.

No, he didn't get the treatment he deserved. Sadly, the MSM were utterly complicit in covering up his crimes, his treasonous behaviors, and his unethical actions. Thank you for recognizing how complicit the MSM were in being simply a non-questioning propaganda arm of Reich Bush.

I’m glad they’re back where they belong. I know they were ready.

Yep - where they belong. Which is: NOT IN POWER. And yes, they were ready. In fact, Shrubbie was ready not to be in power even before he became governor of Texas. Given that he was utterly incompetent.

15. Can't fathom what would have happened if Gore had won?
First, he did win. If he had been allowed to take office, he would led with intelligence and competence. The attack on 9/11 likely wouldn't have happened. If it had, Gore and his administration would've acted appropriately. For example, Gore's EPA administrator probably wouldn't have told rescue workers that they were safe breathing the air at ground zero even though they weren't (saving lives down the line). Gore also would have focused on the people who attacked us instead of trying to impress his daddy by invading Iraq. As result of not invaded Iraq, our country wouldn't be bankrupt. Our economy wouldn't have been left in shambles. We would be well on our way to dealing with climate change. Gore would have also done his duty to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the US.

Yeah, Gore being president would have been awful :eyes:
