1. Work?
What do you mean work?

DUers don't have to work. Now that Obama is in we're all done. Now, whatever happens is his fault.

2. (grin) You and I are most certainly on the same page ....
... in repeatedly reminding folks that a single election is a very, very small part of the change in direction we need. It's gonna take a LOT of attention and effort to overcome the inertia of the slippery slope upon which we've been sliding for over 30 years and THEN start making progress in achieving the systemic changes/repair we need for economic equity and social justice.

:hi:

4. Progress?
Hey, I got my progress. Now you want me to share it? Get off my lawn!!

Next thing ya know you're gonna start telling people all politics is local and that they should get off their asses and participate at the local level. I can hear it now!

3. Okay, I'll play
Who will be Obama's running mate in 2012?

Biden's 66. When Obama wins in 2012, his veep is the natural sucessor in 2016.

But Biden will be 74 in 2016. That's kind of old for a presidental run. So in 2016 we find ourselves in the same situation as the Repubs in '08: a wide open contest.

So Biden serves one term as veep... who's replacing him in 2012?

7. Dunno, but somebody who, in 2012, is in their 50's or early 60's.
Probably a white male.

So how well does this narrow down the field?

10. Sure lets have constant none stop campaigns
So nothing gets done and the focus is all on campaigns and why not start next week on 2010 midterms.

12. That's so funny I forgot to laugh.
What has it got to do with threating? We just went through a two year campaign and another right before that. If you're so pumped up about 4 years from now go ahead and hang a few signs around your neck and hit the streets.
