Mr. President, please interview Sibel Edmonds.
That about sums it up. Listen to her, ask her questions, and let her speak.

Congress has been an extreme disappointment in that area.

8. K&R!
And allow others with suits against the government to move forward with them, instead of universally dismissing them for "state secrets"... Perhaps offer some alternative means of hearing their stories too (Sibel, Maher Arar, etc.).

33. Yes. I do think it possible.
That Net-Savvy President has had other priorities over the last 4 years. He may very well know her story, but I think it quite possible he doesn't.

16. Who is going to prosecute her now? She should speak!
I've carried Sibel Edmonds as my avatar since she went public in the UK. The Criminal Admin didn't do a damn thing to her.

She should just come clean to the US media and end this thing, instead of waiting for Barack Obama to "interview" her.

Tice is speaking and his work seques perfectly with hers. Get it out there. Now.

Should they hold water, perhaps we will find out.

22. I don't know. I contacted McClatchy's Washington bureau
many times and was either passed to others and other times ignored. I also contacted staff of three different members of Congress and got nowhere there as well. Of course, her efforts were rebuked because of "state secrets".

27. I suppose those that want her to be quiet have something to do
with that. After the IG report, I thought maybe someone would be interested either press wise or governmental. But the press likes collaboration of sources and I'm sure no one was helpful in that regard.

20. I agree that she's been suppressed here. The import of her story is unknown.
But if Tice breaks "big", there's no reason that Edmonds can't latch on. It's time. It's more than time for whistleblowers to step forward NOW. Especially her imho.

26. And Wilson and Plame and Clarke and Tice?
I believe that Pres. Obama really needs to get a handle of the shadow government that might be entrenched from the evil neocon administration. I am sure there may be renegade military, FBI, CIA and others who control a lot of our government. An Executive Order should be put place that makes it clear that if any of this kind of crap is discovered, immediate imprisonment will be in order and the perps will be treated as terrorits trying to overthrow our government.

28. And Bunny Greenhouse, and Jane Crowley?
They tell of lesser offenses than outing one of our own spooks (a high crime, for sure), but still, they've blown the whistle. We should listen up.

31. How is Ed Towns compared to Henry Waxman?...

Many speculated that it was AIPAC or other congressional entities that were coming down on Waxman hard to keep Sibel off of his "interview list"... Was hoping earlier that they'd give Dennis Kucinich the chairmanship of this committee, but we got Ed Towns instead. Might he be better or worse than Waxman to lobby for this to happen?

36. When she comes forward, I'm sure we'll be among the first to hear about it.
But, I think Barack already knows a lot about what she saw and heard.

The President should have the whole National Security Whistleblower's group up to the White House. It's time to hand out some medals.
