These bastards are not above the law! |
|
It was easier to make inroads into when Nixon was being investigated. This administration, especially the fearsome foursome (Bush, Cheney, Rove and Gonzo), has managed to make itself high and mighty and keep themselves from being prosecuted through the past 6 years. WE NEED TO STOP THEM! There must be something that can be done. They've taken over our country and are holding it hostage.
Are we too late? Or can we put an end to their terrible deeds?

1. First of all...ROVE is a Political Advisor. |
|
The position was CREATED for him. The taxpayers PAY for the asshole and his staff. It is the FIRST time this has happenend in OUR HOUSE! He is NOT technically his "advisor"...that's Josh Bolton's job. He is the Chief of Staff. The fact that nobody is SCREAMING about this BLOWS ME AWAY!

Officially Rove is Deputy Chief of Staff (Josh Lyman for all you West Wing nuts such as myself). Though i doubt he actually works for anybody besides Bush.

2. The story so far: They are above the law, and we have made no big in roads. |
|
But I am praying that will all change.
PS The Nixon era was totally different, those days are long gone. We have lost our way as a people since then.

3. Yes, they apparently are above the law. |
|
Bottom line: they are all still in power. Abu Ghraib, Signing Statements, election fraud, Katrina, Patriot Act, no-bid contracts to Halliburton, Rendition, insane national debt and spending, Rape of the Constitution, Destruction of checks and balances, Abramoff, stacking of the Supreme Court, Iraq --- have all come and gone. Big Yawn from Congress. Nothing they do is apparently big enough for an organized opposition to stop them once and for all. What is it finally going to take? Maybe, just maybe if they start arresting citizens gestapo-style in the middle of the night and throw them in domestic concentration camps that will be enough for Congress to act --- but frankly, I doubt it. Face it, this junta is still in power. Still unimpeached. Still not in jail. Bush is still gearing up to bomb Iran. Still sneering at us and shitting on democracy.
