Fourth day of Obama Presidency and Right-wingers in full-attack mode...
Not only Limbaugh but the other apologists and propagandists also. I was listening to just a bit of the Mike Rosen show out of Denver a few minutes ago and his problem was with Obama's comments that we did not have to surrender our ideals to be secure. He did not agree with that. He used WWII as an example. He said people were drafted into the military against their will and many of them died. Etc...etc... Callers mentioned that they cut off the heads of Americans "over there"...

It didn't take them long to get the attacks started. But is anyone surprised? For eight long years, they have preached against these dangerous terrorists and legitimized whatever illegal acts we did as justified because we were at war with invisible terrorists. Now their little computers in their brain keeps saying "Does not compute....Does not compute..."

2. So ... we should abandon all American ideals and principles
in order to protect America? Don't these idiots realize that without those ideals and principles there is no America?

"America in name only" is not the country we should be striving to be.

3. I think, for the most part, we are down to the hardcore Repugs.
Look at how many were disgusted with what they saw of Bush and, particularly, Cheney.

Now, they have to get past the point where they lost. Not losing the last two elections was wrong. It gave them a false sense of importance. In my book, Bush didn't win either one, but we haven't been able to prove that in a court of law. They have been taken for a ride and don't know it. Now, to see the majesty and crowds of the inauguration, they are in shock. How could people be so excited over Barack Obama?

I think once they see how Barack will turn things around, they will at least learn to sit down and shut up. Well, maybe not.

What I want to know is: Where is the list of terra attacks Bush stopped so our country was protected? Remember all those fake spectacles? That seems so long ago.

5. Let's see if I can remember how it goes - Criticizing the President while
we're at war is unpatriot, giving aid and comfort to the enemy, helping the terrorists - right?

Maybe the first ideal we should give up then is Free Speech? Wonder if he'd support that one.

(I am a huge Free Speech supporter, even of those like Phelps and crew who I am certainly on the opposite side of but am glad he has the same right to speak his mind as I do)

6. Juan Williams, NPR's right-wing shill...
just stated that (paraphrased) "there's widespread support in the country that the DOJ (my edit here...aka Eric Holder's nomination hold-up) should not prosecute outgoing administration officials on the torture issue." WTF? WTF? Where DOES he get his talking points? Rove? Norquist? Rush? Ailes? The guy's a complete embarrassment, to put a kindly spin on it. Who the fuck is producing these news shows? I am enraged! Everyone I know wants Bush et al in prison or worse.
Earlier today, some RWer on NPR opined that Social Security "and other high-administrative-cost programs" needed to be cut back. WTF! I might as well read the WSJ editorial pages...
:wtf: :puke:

8. Perhaps they should spend more time fixing their party.
Oh wait, I'm asking them to take some "personal accountability"...that's what they always tell us to do...
