"It has, and always will be, the way of the Democrats to insult and belittle the opposing party." |
|
So says somebody commenting on my Facebook profile page:
"I realize being a Republican is less popular then ever now, and since I will never comprpmise my beliefs, the derogatory remarks about anything or anybody not pro-Obama will continue. It has, and always will be, the way of the Democrats to insult and belittle the opposing party. Big government is not the answer to our problems and certainly NOT what our forefathers intended, stated very clearly in the Constitution. What I wonder is, what exactly are his supporters supporting? He was in the senate for 100+ days...he has NO "track record"...you probably couldn't even get promoted to manager of McDonald's in that period of time, and he ascended to President? I don't get it, and the lack of experience is one of the MANY things that terrify me about him."
As Mr. Mackey once said, "Drugs are bad, mmmkay?"

18. "Big government" is one of the prime Republican buzzwords. |
|
It would be interesting to analyze what they really mean when they use the phrase "big government." It's been my experience that any time government acts or attempts to act for the common good, the Freeper types start whining about "big government." But government can be equally invasive or intrusive (or more so!) when acting in the interest of so-called "national security," but somehow that's different!

Obama won, McCain lost. Get over it.
On the other hand, it might be illuminating (or at least humorous) to ask this garbanzo what his "beliefs" are, what specifically he's referring to in the Constitution anent "big government", and what exactly as an Obama detractor he's detracting?

6. Its possible to get promoted to manager at McD within 10 days |

all you have to do is be competent, sober and responsible the day the old manager quits. Obama has already displayed more competence than W in 2 days.

10. Show me a point in history when members of political parties didn't insult one another |

The idea that members of one party are being insulted and members of another party aren't is ridiculous.

Ann Coulter that outright called for us to be killed? Dude, if I have any problem with Obama, it's that be tries to be too diplomatic and classy with America's domestic enemies (aka the GOP), Believe me GOP, if many of us had our druthers, you would not worry about insults, your heads would be on pikes, and we would be walking our dogs up to them so that they could piss on them.

Where in the Constitution does it state "clearly" that "government is not the answer to our problems."
This means (if the person posting is to be taken at their word) that somewhere in the Constitution, it states "government is not the answer to problems" or something to that effect.

16. Hmmm ... those other than Repubs who are best at "insulting" and "belittling" |
|
are either DINOs or former Dems, like Zell Miller or Lieberman. But their insults and belittling comments have been most directed at other Dems.
Having great fun imagining Obama's "ascension" to Prez, btw.

Pull the string, and the Barbie phrases just tumble out automatically.
Of course, it's not possible to belittle Republican politics.
