This is only the beginning of Obama's plans to reshape society. His view is that unborn babies aren't worth protecting and that homosexuals deserve special rights.

1. We all know this is not about saving babies.

It is all about controlling women's lives and bodies for the profit of fat old white men.

First of all it should be established that the dipshit fundies are subliterate morons. Abortion has absolutely nothing to do with babies. A baby is only a baby after it is born. Prior to that it is a fetus or an embryo.

Next, the fundies have proven over and over that they could give the least little shit about babies. They oppose programs like WIC, Medicaid, or any other program designed to help the most vulnerable Americans and the vehemently support politicians that try to diminish or eliminate those programs. All the while there are areas in the US where the infant mortality rate is higher than in some 3rd world countries.

The fact is that fundies hate babies and any suggestion to the contrary is pure bullshit.

I've gotten tired of the numerous special rights afforded to fundies- to impose creationism on kids, for example- or to harrass students on campus due to sexual oreientation- or to be exempted from childhood vaccination schedules- or attempting to force kids to sit through or participate in oreganized denominational prayer in public schools- or to deny women birth control- or the morning after pill, even after they've been raped.

These folks need to be relegated back to the fringe, where they belong- and where they've remained in damn near every other western industrialized nation.
