Tweetie's blood sugar is too high again
He just accused the Obama administration of putting limits on the number of offspring a family may produce. Because family planning money is back in the budget.

"This sounds like China!"

Oh my god- he must have eaten a box of krispie kremes for lunch

1. I am a diabetic
And even at near ketoacidosis levels, I would never say something so nonsensical! You insult the near comatose!

3. Right, I was thinking insulin shock myself
People with extremely low blood sugar talk ragtime and could possibly say something this stupid.

15. That could be. The only way to know would be to give him a Snickers bar
And see if he is still as inane about 10 minutes later.

I'm guessing yes.

10. A close FM of mine has Type I diabetes & I'm here to tell you, Tweety's CRAZY has little to ...
Edited on Mon Jan-26-09 05:37 PM by ShortnFiery
nothing to do with Diabetes (hypo- or hyper- glycemic reactions).

Kindly consider the fact that Tweety functions for the power elite by keeping us "chattering classes" at each other's throats?

Tweety is unpredictable as a wind vane ... BY DESIGN. :(

2. Yeah, he's all "hot and bothered" about Family Planning being included in the Stimulus Package.
He should have joined the March for Life crazies last week.

Wexler was far too kind but calmly explained that it was to EDUCATE people and ASSIST people in making CHOICES not provide "abortions on demand."

Grrr! I can't stand how the right wing (sometimes with Tweety's help) morphs the thoughtful service of "Family Planning" into increased demand for abortion.

4. What is his e-mail.. I think the women of this country need to set him
straight on family planning. It is access to anual check-ups, access to affordable birth control options, and access to counceling. An annual check-up saves so much money down the line.. Just catching pre-cancerous cells from a pap smear saves lots of money. As well, poor women who have access to information and the availability of birth control will save money on the overall welfare system, and also cut downt the number of abortions performed in the US. Because the republicans have nothing, they are once again, attacking women's services. Could you imagine if we took away viagra for these old fools? Time to attack the men ladies.. Men who agree, add in... I'm tired of b.s. crap around family planning services.

ordered and enforced.

It is hypoglycemia (blood glucose levels which are too low) that may cause confusion and excitement.

Type 1, 46 years. :hi:

13. He isn't against birth control
It has to do with it being a talking point the idiotic right wants to push and he's afraid if he doesn't the right wingers won't come on his show.

25. Why didn't they have a knowledgeable woman spokesperson on the show?
Sure, Wechsler was great but it would have been a lot better to have a liberal woman on to explain all of this to Chris. He is so underinformed it is pathetic. And we needed someone who could have taken that a'hole from GA apart...

Well, he did say at least that he was pro-contraceptives and prochoice, that's a mercy...

26. All of the media are repeating this
Somebody posted her remarks in a different thread or I wouldn't have known exactly what she said. She wasn't talking about babies at all. She was talking about helping states cover important costs. How many people think the media would bald-faced lie the way they do? Even Cafferty is repeating the garbage. This is when we need an Obama phone-tree to set the record straight.

27. Is this getting confused with a kind of pro-natalism that supports women having babies
so that we have an increase in our population?

crazy...

14. I'm betting Tweety would be first in line for a Viagra stimulus.
Poor choice of words, but it seems the right of women to control their bodies always ranks at the bottom of the list. Good for Pelosi.

16. And you would win that bet
he went from the entire theme of his show today- Obama being different than bush- and seemingly had NO clue that Obama is working quickly to repair bush's 'faith-based family planning debacle.

I like the Snickers plan, btw.

17. Consider that each baby born is a committment to spend around $250K before it contributes anything
So the fewer unwanted/unaffordable babies that there are, the better off we are.

20. I go from wringing my hands in despair...
...to reacting furiously at such nonsensical misinformation.

Providing birth control to the individual is hardly the same thing as the state dictating on matters of family planning.

Just another example of how our newspeople and pundits continue to muddy the waters, so that is near impossible to have any rational discussion regarding policy matters.
