Bipartisanship ceased to exist in any way, shape or form once George W. Bush took office. President Obama has done it correctly. He has shown the American people just who runs the Repukeican Party. Rep. Gingrey's I-shit-my-pants-in-my-worship-for-you apology to Rush today shows whose ring is to be kissed. They will go down this slavish line through 2012, when they will lose by historic margins and finally learn that they have to actually govern, or end their existence. Kind of like the Know Nothings, or the Whigs.

Their self immolation will be both destructive to our nation and a sight to behold. They proved today that there is no difference of opinion in the Repukeican Party. There is just party loyalty, and they have chosen their Fuehrer.

I have never compared anyone to Hitler. But after today's unanimous vote, one could compare the Repukes to the Nazis, who also had a single Fuehrer,who tolerated no dissent. And obviously their Fuehrer is not Boehner or McConnell.
