Who else saw David Frum on Real Time last night? |
|
Has there ever been a more clueless, lying bastard? 4 years later, and he still can't admit that he was wrong.

I'm serious. Have you ever seen anyone (OK, GWB) whose left side of his face is so different from the right? I've heard tell that the person's left side reveals their inner self, while the right is their public "face." I've seen photos of GWB wherein his left side looks diabolical and right side looks smarmy.
Just an observation. Frum's face is messed up...like his ideology.

I don't know if you can still access the after show or not (the Overtime segment he does on the "internets" from his HBO site), but Frum was laying down some shit out the outsourcing of jobs formerly done by the military and how much cheaper it is to contract that out. What a load of crap that was!

Zbig was good, but the panel was pathetic. Frum was clearly going to talk rings around the other two guests, spin his odious bullshit, and our good friend Bill was not going to be up on the facts as usual, so Frum's bullshit would go unchallenged. I lasted into Frum's first diarrheal monologue and I turned it off.

Then repeats the same stupid thing he said before you "let him finish!" Also the Tony Snow "let me help you out here" is GWBs "what the American people have got to UNDERSTAND is..."
Frum had the GALL to say Bernie Saunders was speaking to people "like they were children," um, excuse me? "Fight them there or we'll have to fight them here" and all the rest of that nonsensical war rhetoric, it's like they think we're all five years old...

talking to or listening to. His 15 minutes of fame (coining the Axis of Evil phrase) was over long ago. He has NO credibility in Canada, the country of his birth, he rarely shows up on any news sites or shows here.
It speaks volumes, imo, about the right wing slant of the US media in that they actually give this empty suit any air time.

Edited on Sat Mar-24-07 01:25 PM by Harvey Korman
John Legend is a good guy, and the other panelist (the mayor) seemed "nice" too, but they simply weren't up to the task of calling that lying traitor out. Bill called him on a few things, but it wasn't enough. He was given too much leeway to give more of his "opinions," as if anyone should care what he has to say about ANYTHING.
I wonder if they did that deliberately to coax him onto the program.
At least Bill's closing monologue was amazing, which made up for it in the end. Did you get a look at Frum's face at the end? Not happy. :)

37. I talked to Frum on a radio show once. |
|
he was pushing his book...his days in the WH
talked about what a takecharge guy the chimp was, what a magnificent, well informed LEADER he was!
I mentioned Mark Crispin Miller's book, which detailed what a narcissistic, ill-informed, cruel jackass Bush was, and basically said Frum was peddling a load that anyone in their right mind should be able to see was just that.
He countered that Miller's book was about Bush's being STUPID, which he was not. The book was exactly NOT about that, and Frum completely mischaracterized it, lying his ass off about it. They wouldn't let me comment on that, of course, because then I could have called him the out and out liar he was.
What little I did get to say was fun, though.
