I have been contributing to Paralized Veterans of America. Does anyone have info about them?

I have googled their website and I think they are on the up and up. Just wanted to check with folks here at DU about them...

I became interested in them because I was so outraged with the lack of support of the Bush administration for veterans at Walter Reed. When I got their first solicitation in the mail I sent them a check. They ask again many times in the year and I give when I can. I feel terrible for these service members who have had such serious injuries and our government didn't care for them. I think they're OK, but I'd like to hear from you guys...

Charity Navigator.org. It doesn't give PVA a very high rating compared to other vet assistance organizations.
