Hasselbeck wants Obama to condemn Olbermann & Matthews on THE VIEW
Conservative POUTRAGE: Elisabeth Hasselbeck demands that Obama condemn Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and others. . .

On THE VIEW today Elisabeth Hasselbeck threw her typical conservative temper tantrum while discussing the war of words between President Obama and the pill popping bigoted conservative mouthpiece Rush Limbaugh. Hasselbeck is POUTRAGED because Obama is not telling Democrats to not listen to MSNBC’Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews.

Excuse us Ms. Hasselbeck, Limbaugh went on record saying that he hoped Obama failed. Did Olbermann and Matthews ever go on record and say that they hope President Bush failed? They may be very critical of Bush but did they ever say they wanted him to fail?

NOPE, there is difference, a big difference between being critical of a president and hoping he fails. Given the over the top knee jerk reactions that the wingnuts had whenever anyone was remotely critical of Bush, Limbaugh’s words could be considered treasonous.

Does anybody remember what happened to the Dixie Chicks?

Hasselbeck and her fellow right wing poutragers need a reality check and they need that reality check quick. She continues her campaign to be the stupidest person on earth.

1. I'll quote Donald Trump
"Elizabeth is the dumbest person on television." Enough said.

2. Add another one: "You're fired."
I couldn't watch that program, hearing her high-pitched, whiny voice.

I didn't like her when she was on "Survivor". She came back after a reward outing with only a slice of gum & instead of discreetly putting it in her mouth, she flaunted doing so. When someone commented about it, she took the wad out of her mouth & offered it to them, with a smug smile on her face.

3. Well I did want Bush to fail, in some sense
He wanted to reduce taxes for rich people - I hoped he would fail.
He wanted to allow corporations to pollute, to profit from the war, and to cut timber on public lands - I hoped he would fail.
He wanted to invade Iraq - I hoped he would fail (fail to start the war, not fail to win the war once started even though 'you can no more win a war than you can win an earthquake')
He wanted to privatize social security - I hoped he would fail.
and so on.

Another thing is that Bush ALWAYS claimed that what he wanted to do was good for the country. The first Bush tax cut was supposed to shorten the recession (although he ran on that platform before a recession was evident, but tax cuts are the answer to every problem there is). The second Bush tax cut was supposed to create jobs. The Clear Skies initiative, the Healthy Forests initiative, the Patriot Act, etc. were all supposedly 'good for the country'.

Just like Bush claimed 'the good of the country' as a cover for passing his pro-rich, pro-corporate conservative agenda, conservatives fear that Obama will claim 'the good of the country' as a cover for passing a pro-liberal agenda. They are also afraid that masses of voters will find out that the pro-liberal agenda REALLY IS good for the country. If that happens, they are screwed.

6. I saw the tirade this morning.
I thought EH was going to start weeping (again) when she started in on this stupid comparison. Then they had the dude on that did the "documentary" on Obama being handed the election by the "liberal" media. He's the guy who interviewed Palin while she whined on and on about how mean the press was to her and her family.

Anyway, a big argument ensued about whether Palin was treated fairly and of course EH and the filmmaker (I use the term loosely) argued that the poor thing was just trashed while Joy, Whoopie and to some extent, Barbara, tried to argue that it was Palin's performance that did her in. I say "tried to argue" because EH was at that point so hysterical that they couldn't get a word in. EH was really off the deep end this morning - she even tried to bring up the Tom Daschle thing during the Rush discussion before Joy shut her ass down on that. She gets going at about 300 MPH with her gums flapping away and she comes across as an amphetamine popper. She really does her side no favors at all because of her emotions and her completely faulty logic and reasoning.

My favorite EH moment today was when she got on her gigantic soapbox to bash Michael Phelps for failing America's youth. She said he got paid to be a role model and he was basically a fuck-up. Whoopie said he was paid to be a spokesperson and that confused EH so much that she shut down pretty quick on that issue. It was truly a popcorn-worthy show this morning if you like watching EH's head explode.

He managed to fuck a lot of things up for most people, but for Bush, most people don't matter. I wish Bush really had failed - we would't be in the mess we are now.

13. Chris Matthews lol
She was probably meant to say Rachel Maddows but flubbed the line. Oh I mean I find her thoughts original and well thought out like the vast majority of RW talking heads. Really whens the last time these people had an original thought. Matthews has in general blown with the political wind and more than one Republican friend of mine has said his show is the best one on MSNBC.

23. I miss Rosie
She was the only thing that made the show watchable. I like Whoopi but she isn't great at controlling the flow of the conservation. Not many people are good at bring a talk show host which is why so many fail within a year or so. Rosie is one of the few good talk show host around. Joy can be funny but she isn't enough to make me watch the show. When I watch clips of the View on youtube, I can see Joy is barely able to control her contempt for Elizabeth sometimes.

25. Whoopie doesn't know much.
I, like you, am very disappointed in Whoopie. She could be a voice of reason on that show, but many times she's misinformed or has her facts flat out wrong. When she said she liked Hannity I was shocked. What is there to like about a guy who spreads hate and propaganda?
My "Whoopie moment" came when she went on a tear about how many taxes she has to pay. She gave a rant on her phone bill tax, her gas tax, her electric bill tax, sales tax, income tax, etc. I was astonished since she makes pretty big money and as a percent of her income, her phone bill tax or electric bill tax isn't hurting her. For an average American, the percentage of all those taxes added up make a pretty big dent in their total income.
I realized then that she really didn't know a hell of a lot and was there to make up for Rosie causing ABC such a headache. Joy spends a little time slapping Elisabeth up when she goes off the rails, but Whoopie is a peacekeeper.

over ONE SENTENCE from the President's mouth that, really, did not even condemn the hardcore junkie pedophile Rush Blowhard.

All he said was that one couldn't listen to him and still get things done. A quite accurate assessment.

Republicans are about as tough as wet phyllo dough.
