Marc Maron won't be hosting on "Air America Radio" anytime soon.

As a guest near the end of Friday's "The Sam Seder Show," Maron implied that AAR offered him a show, but not enough money for him to accept.

It also seems that Maron won't be a Friday regular guest on "The Sam Seder Show" anymore.

I've been a fan of his comedy for a long time and think he was great on Air America.

Well, Friends-

Here some sad news out of the gate. I will not be returning to Air
America Radio. Today will be the last time I call in on Sam Seder's show. I
will not be guest hosting any Air America shows in the future. This is
all my choice. No conspiracy here. I'm just done with that company. My
relationship with AAR is officially over. Thank you all for your
support over the last couple of years. I've got to let go and move on.

There are some things percolating at HBO. I have no real news about
what or when or if but there is percolation.

Here is something I do know. I will be appearing with Henry Rollins and
Janeane Garofalo at the Grammercy Theater in NYC April 10-15.

6. a common negotiating tactic, especially in radio

I hope this is nothing more than public posturing during a contract negotiation. I can understand Marc being upset with AAR, since they probably owe him money, but the idea that he won't even check in with Sam's show when he is trying to push tickets in New York seems suspect to me. Marc still has lots of fans from his AAR days and you'd think he would at least take advantage of that when he has projects that need plugging.

Isn't Mark a true believer? What do you think that money has to do with anything? This is AAR you fool you must submit! You think Randi gets paid? Of course not. She is only in it for the movement!
