If someone's walking around with an elbow or knee, they should be arrested and questioned until they reveal the location of the rest of the remains.

|
Then they should go to jail for possessing a pair of pants or a paperclip--whatever's in their pockets'll do. DIldo. Whatever.

13. are there laws against 'minimal quantities' or 'you only have one joint?'... |
|
our complete 'drug wars' programs, laws, etc. are a joke...no, a travesty...the simple legalization would not only cripple the gang-war culture of the drug trade...have you been paying attention to the wars going on RIGHT OVER THE BORDER from El Paso to San Diego...but could provide tax revenue (you know that will be the deal) to the feds and states...
and don't even mention the jail-cell industry, which would be the second-most-hardest hit money-making scheme to be affected (behind the drug traffickers)...
by the way, if the feds and states were smart, they would not decriminalize pot, they would make it legal...and seek local pot dealers to become 'licensed providers' (since their clientele is established and they have all the necessary connections and are familiar with distribution, etc)...but i have a feeling phillip morris has other plans....

17. I've never understood why pot is illegal in the first place |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-10-09 10:36 AM by theHandpuppet
Tobacco and alcohol kill thousands upon thousands of Americans every year, including innocents who are the victims of drunk drivers. Not to mention that alcohol consumption is involved a large percentage of domestic violence cases and exposure to tobacco can kill those who don't even smoke themselves. Why the obsession with pot? Is it any worse for a person's health than a quarter pounder from Mickey D's?

18. NO. In Texas, it used to be 20 years in prison for 1 joint. You might as well have killed someone. |

19. Yes, and then have their lips cut off. |
|
That'll teach 'em!
Forty years ago I would have bet a million dollars marijuana would be legal by now, yet we're just about as medieval about it now as we were then. When I consider that half the population is below average in intelligence, and that significant percentages of the remaining half are either self-serving hypocrites, religiously insane, or just plain jerks, that puts the sensible in the minority. I guess that explains it for me.
