Liberals and progressives have used the internets for community organization ...
... to the surprise of the GOP.

But, have we kept our edge over them?

Check out Stimulus Watch (http://www.stimuluswatch.org/ )

It is basically a data base (in wiki form) that allows anyone to edit information about the http://www.stimuluswatch.org/project/by_state">thousands of projects all across the country. In addition to sections for pro and con arguments, there is a way to argue and a quick poll allowing people to vote whether the project is "critical."

It looks as though the entire site has been freeped. Most of the polls rate the projects as not critical. Despite the number of jobs each project will provide, people can still vote it down and few provide reasons against the project or alternatives.

Please check it out and post what you know about the project onto the page.

If you have any questions, let me know and I'll help as best I can

3. (facepalm)
Our edge on the intertubez is ginormous, and not decreasing.

Easiest strong example I found within 30 seconds: http://www.vanityfair.com/online/wolcott/2009/01/were-there-a-mens-cologne.html

(Wolcott uses big words and writes well. I'll find a simpler version of the story if needed.)
