Bristol's interview backfired...said her pregnancy STARTED in the summer??

(the video is the one where she is pictured, below Palin's interview/pic)

Watch the video of her...at about the 6:47 mark (it counts backwards) Greta asked her "what happened in school" (when she found out she was pregnant, I assume)..Bristol responds "well, it was during the summer, school had just gotten out" and acts like school was not an issue.

Going by their announced December due date would mean she conceived in late March/early April.
Bristol may have accidently set off a new round of "did she have Trig, also" questions now that she has publically messed up the Palin version timeline.

1. This reignites the story about Trig
Trig was born in March. Assuming he was full term baby, he was conceived in June.
Yep, Trig is Bristol's baby.

3. trying to give her the benefit of the doubt

4. It probably didn't start causing a problem
until after school was out. She may have conceived in March/April. But when did she have to tell her parents? That's when it really started. God, her mother must be something to deal with.
She actually seems a lot smarter than her mother.

6. If she conceived in April, she may not have known until June ...
... when 'school had just gotten out' ... first timers and especially teenage first time mothers aren't exactly hip to the changes their bodies are going thru. She could have been 8-10 weeks along before she realized ...

7. It's possible that she conceived in the early Spring and
didn't actually "know" she was pregnant until after school got out which according to the Anchorage School calendar I found (HERE) is around the 3rd week in May so she would have been only around 2 months along when school got out.

From what I've seen and know from my own experience (I was pregnant then married at 17), it doesn't always click in right away that you're pregnant at that age or if you suspect you may be you may try denial for a month or two in the hope that you're wrong.

12. Funny how she wasn't asked about her 5 month absence from school
"with mono", per the Palin story. She was pulled out of Wasilla schools mid year, according to the principal there, and then was MIA from her new school in Anchorage with a 5 month case of mono. I don't think the Anchorage school calender meant alot to the Palins.
You would think the 5 month mono deal would have been worthy of a mention in the interview...like "wow, you had JUST gotten over mono and then you found out you were pregnant?" or..."going by your MOTHER'S timeline of your due date, etc...you conceived the baby **in the middle** of being out of school with a horrid case of mono?". Or "so you were left in Anchorage while the rest of the family/siblings went to Juneau with your mom during the AK legislature session. Why??" (per a WaPo article a few months back)

Instead we get the "it (start of the pregnancy) was in the summer" comment and a blank, confused look from Bristol when asked how the Tripp pregnancy affected her school year.

IMO, Palin is clinging to the "they will take Bristol's word for everything and not question anything" much like she did for herself during the campaign.

9. If you watch the part of the interview where Sarah Palin
comes in and Greta starts talking to her Palin begins to say it is a shame (about Bristol getting pregnant) but then catches herself and says that "it is an absolute shock". It begins with about 1:55 left in the interview.

11. I feel sorry for the girl
Right now she's being used to keep her mother's name in the news. God knows Seerah will do anything to stay in the public eye.

Likely Bristol didn't face the reality of her pregnancy until she was several months along. I just hope her choices were her own.
