2. Hadn't heard if he will but
I would strongly suggest he get as far away from bush and the white house as possible for his health's sake. Lying for a criminal and being a dick while doing it should present way too much stress for a person in his condition. Surely to God a doctor would pull the plug on his employment for his health's sake.

3. Maybe They Can Get Katie To Interview Him
And he can grill Tony the same way she did the Edwards'.

I doubt she could do it to one of her own, however. I'm sure it would be a kinder and gentler interview.

11. "Some people say...."
My blood boils when I think of Ms. Perkycolon saying that to the Edwards'.

Snow is what is part of what is wrong with America, but if the guy has liver cancer he can do whatever he wants.... work or not, and everybody should just STFU.

I've gotta think how I would feel if it was Coulter or Limbaugh or O'Reilly..... or Dumbya. I doubt I could be as charitable.

5. Liver cancer is horrible.
Most people would retire and enjoy the rest of their lives as best they can.

But, of course Republicans aren't like the rest of us (to paraphrase Rush).

6. No announcement yet, but I can't imagine he'd return. Less than 2 years left, and
even if everything goes great and he gets a remission or cure, he'd be spending a good chunk of that time recovering from surgery and chemo.

8. I doubt it, he's going to need every bit of strength and time he's got..
to fight this thing, even still, the odds are long. Once the cancer hits your liver, most likely you have very little time left.

9. For the sake of his health he should resign
stress takes it's toll on anyone's health, and with the escalating scandals at the WH, Snow needs to put himself and his family and friends first. Liver cancer is a tough one in the very best of circumstances.

14. Agree - Snow needs to get away from the hatred and fear mongering that is the White House today.
Being in that environment, full of hatred, spewing lies, manipulating others, etc., will not be good for him.

I'm not a fan of Tony's, but I certainly don't take satisfaction in hearing of others health issues. I hope he gets well, and does something positive for a change.

10. Not if he listens to Rush Limbaugh
according to whom Tony should go pray and not put his work ahead of that.

Rush is such a useless ass hat

12. I'm betting he steps down soon.
Maybe not in the immediate future, but soon.

He doesn't have long in that position regardless and the treatment is tough enough.

15. I heard a statement that Snow was trying to devise a way that he could
continue to do his job at the White House. I cannot remember the source. In this report he was giving Perino "talking points" this morning.

Tony Snow's Cancer Spreads To Liver
White House Press Secretary Says Growth On Abdomen Is Cancerous

    WASHINGTON, March 27, 2007
(CBS/AP) White House Press Secretary Tony Snow told the White House Tuesday that a growth discovered in his lower abdomen is cancerous. Snow reported that the cancer has spread to the liver, according to deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino.

He is consulting with doctors on chemotherapy, Perino said, adding that Snow spoke with the president. Perino said Snow is feeling "pretty good."

Perino said Snow told her, "I'm gonna beat it again." ...

It is unclear if or when Snow will return to his duties. Perino, the White House's deputy press secretary, is leading the news briefings in his absence. She said she talked with him Tuesday morning and "he was helping me with talking points," said Perino, who broke into tears when she announced Snow's condition. ...
