BREAKING HARDBALL: Senate Dems told by DAG McNulty he made a false statement...
because of Monica Goodling telling him something false! This was just in a David Shuster report right now on Hardball on MSNBC.

5. I don't think so actually. I think that's him being more honest...
and forthcoming than the White House wanted him to be in giving information about the firing of H.E. Bud Cummings, in that he specifically said it was a political firing when the White House and the Attorney General both said none of the firings were for anything other than political reasons.

4. So, McNulty is blaming Monica Goodling and then she is pleading the 5th?
is that the way out for both of them to avoid being charged?

6. No, what it might mean is that McNulty is an honest man...
and he told the Senate Committee the truth, then they wanted to question Goodling about it. Remember he's already rubbed against the grain of what the White House wanted because he told the Senate Judiciary Committee that Cummins was fired for political reasons.

Goodling is a good candidate for a conspirator, because she's the liaison to the White House.

It sounds like they have the goods on her.

10. Yep, McNulty is a rare good Republican...
He knows Chuck Schumer, if you catch my drift. I think that's why he's been honest.

12. Yes, they are indeed.
That means McNulty is our little deep throat, only he's willing to do it openly.

13. There have to be other Republicans who are horrified by bushco
Unless every single Republican in the nation is a corrupt hypocrite willing to watch this administration take down everything Republicans have ever claimed to love, then there have to be others willing to speak up and prevent this coup.

14. Monica Goodling is going to jail... unless she flips on the higher ups.
It's against the law to knowingly tell someone false information and then that someone tells congress that er false information.

That's why she's pleading the 5th.
