The economic crisis and the stimulus, and dog whistles and rush limbaugh |

First off it is larger than most will admit, even our government (at least in public)
But the fact is if this works as advertised (and I believe we needed at least another 2B in infrastructure, never get it from the pugs) it will take at least six months for us to feel the changes. This means the dow matters little unless you have money invested there and you need it now
This is the moment to SEAT on whatever you have otherwise
But medium to long term, our retirement should not depend on WS... that is the end of that era
There is more, I suspect that globalization as we know it is over. This is the code when we hear Rush and the rest talking about socialism and the end of capitalism, The dog whistle is, the end of laizze faire and current unregulated world trade. That is that they fear, as well as the coming of age of single care. THat means the fear of loosing a job (tied to health care) will not be there
So when you listen to the idiots, try to decipher the code... as there is code
And rush represents the radical republicans that are not that different from their counterparts back in the 1930s... this too will pass (if the frothing at the mouth does not lead to other horrors), and Rush (and the radicals) will be seeing a dust pan and history.
Oh and even though in the medium to long tern Rush will not survive, still keep paying attention, the dog whistles will be getting much louder over the next ten years
