How Long WIll Pakistan's Civilian Government Claim Control? |
|
Pakistan is slipping away. The Taliban control Swat Valley, and are expanding. The police and military are compromised to the point of being unable to control the extremists or provide security. Less and less of the country is actually under Zardari's authority.
Can he regain what is lost? Can he regain control of the ISI? I think Pakistan is a failed state.
How long can Zardari give the impression that he is the head of the country?
