Major Countdown With Keith Olbermann News

In case anyone hasn't noticed, MSNBC has Added an additional repeat of Countdown.

It airs midway between the previous scheduled broadcasts, at 10:00 PM EST, 7 :00 PST.

Always a good sign, and hopefully MSNBC will see an increase in their ratings during that time slot, and will be glad they added another repeat.

7. I think they moved the lock up show to 11 PM EST. I wonder

if they added the repeat @ 10 PM to compete to AC 360.

8. Not so great news — the 10PM showing is just a test for this week:

"Why is Countdown re-airing at 10pm?," an e-mailer asked last night. Here's the answer: MSNBC is experimenting with a 10pm repeat of Countdown with Keith Olbermann Monday through Thursday of this week. (It still repeats at midnight too.)

A second e-mailer wondered: "Are they trying to take Anderson Cooper and Greta Van Susteren head-on?" This isn't the first time MSNBC has experimented with a Countdown replay: for a short period last year, it reaired at 9am the next day, a third e-mailer points out...

9. If It's Only A Test

Then I guess they're going to look at how it does in that slot. I wonder if they intend to continue the Midnight EST repeat and just add this additional one. It seems like a no brainer to me. It has to get better ratings than whatever prison crud used to air in that hour.

I suppose if you have TIVO and want to help them make their decision, it couldn't hurt to TIVO the next 2 night's 10 PM EST reruns, as I believe the networks get notified of TIVO'd programs.
