|
The GOP had expected President Obama to fix all the problems facing this country in less than 50 days taking office....
Come, step into the wayback machine here on DU. Watch your step...What was Dubbya Doing way back in 2001, during his first 50 days?
Lets see what you all can find out...wait, Wait I see it, VACATIONING? Avoiding meetings about the Terrorist problem? Clearing Brush in Crawford?...Taking shots of Jack in the tool shed?

9. I don't think that was an embarrasment. |
|
I think it was intentional. Not the collision, of course, but the way it was handled afterward. We never saw that plane again, did we? China got a hold on some nifty technology they didn't have before that incident.

4. Unlike Obama, Bush inherited a system that was fully functional. |
|
He didn't have to fix anything--in the positive meaning of the word, that is. He intherited peace, prosperity, a surplus, a counterterrorism policy that was keeping al Qaeda in check. And he used all of his 8 years to fuck it all up.

...which was prdictably eating up news time, leaving His Squandership et al. free to not be covered.

12. These are the same people who are still blaming Bill Clinton for 9/11 |
|
That was almost 8 months after Bush was sworn in. Yet it was all Clinton's fault?
