4. Because no one can agree what "the common enemy" is
Especially when some insist (especially w/ mounting rage when it's not heeded by the unwashed masses) on lecturing others on what the "common enemy" should be. That's black and white, binary thinking to me, and that's what's gotten civilization into the sandpit it's in now.

5. And esp in America where the cult of the individual is completely
out of control. That's why we have gridlock on freakin' freeways with one person in every car.

6. Because too many people still identify with the common enemy in the Democratic Party.

People's axe here is largely "personal responsiblity." When are parents/teachers/coworkers/neighbors going to do what they're supposed to do? Why am I the only hardworking American? When will other people quit smoking, lose weight, stop having so many babies, pay off their loans, get a job, stop being an immigrant "taking my job", stop picking on President Obama, stop shopping at cheap stores that exploit labor (as opposed to expensive stores that exploit labor.)

Sure, the Republican party are fascists, but the enemy is the Empire--now more than ever--not insane freeper psychotics, although they are the enemy indeed.
