He is so obviously incompetent and out of his depth, he's the type of person we want to stay as head of the RNC.
Let's face it, he's Brownie (no pun intended) and we should want him to keep doing a heck of a job.

1. I hope they keep him for other reasons.

The fact that they have appointed a token African American to head their party shows how crass and out-of-touch they are, but even so, it shows a major change in their party, and I believe it is a change that they will lose control of quickly.

I wouldn't mind the Republican Party developing into a respectable, if still wrong, opposition party, rather than them being the thugs, murderers, and bigots they are now.

2. It looks like he's socially moderate

and (gasp) may even understand that he shouldn't try to force his personal beliefs regarding abortion and other issues on other people. I don't think the Republicans realized that when they elected him to RNC chair.

Right now he's trying too hard to appease the social conservatives. But it's early, and I think he could be dangerous if he ever gets his "sea legs" and learns to ignore Limbaugh and his ilk.

who can't organize his way out of a paper bag. I'm not worried about him ever getting "sea legs".

4. If all Dems hate him (or pretend to) Steele has a much better chance to survive than if we say

"Keep Steele"!

But in reality the republicans are a truly racist party. The republicans now see there is no benefit in having a black man, Steele, as head of the NRC to offset Obama....

The republicans see no advantage in Steele and are finding even the smallest things to get rid of him... things the slimy republicans would normally be protecting if the RNC head were white....

The black thing as the republicans see it, is NOT helping the republicans politically, nor among their racist white fascist voters....

So I believe Steele will absolutely be gone after March 31st.
