Why no Stewart/Cramer on MSM today?
Keith is even ignoring it. What??? Who got to whom? Cramer no-shows on Scarborough and no one else even mentions the news story of the day? Christ, everybody I know is calling one another and saying "You have GOT to see this!" That used to be the definition of news, n'est-ce pas?

4. Everybody but NBC is talking about it.
Edited on Fri Mar-13-09 07:35 PM by parasim
NBC apparently told everybody in the family to not talk about it it though.

edited to add: even O'Reilly talked about it. and prety much agreed with Stewart. Although he completely got wrong why Jon did it.

6. Exactly. I think they're afraid of a Congressional "Payola" type investigation.
Pay to Play....

11. There is a blackout on the NBC channels. CNN has covered it all day. It is front paged on their
website right now with multiple stories on it listed.

NBC/MSNBC/CNBC know nothing, nothing about it - except when Gibbs mentioned how much he enjoyed it during his White House Briefing which was aired live on MSNBC.

13. I think that this in itself is a story.....
the fact that the GE Family censored itself, after Kramer had done the rounds of NBC shows to talk about this. it would have been one thing if he hadn't, but he did.

The media is going to "ask the tough questions", now, so they say.....but they should have been asking them all the while, and that's the problem; we are were we are largely because of them.

CBS may be the least manipulative of all of them, but all one has to do is remember Dan Rather to understand that none of our media was immune during the Bush terms in cramming corporate propaganda down our throats. In fact, they are still at it.
