Wounded Soldier Re-enlists in Hospital Bed 'Down Range'

BALAD, Iraq (Army News Service, March 28, 2007) - To hear Staff Sgt. Andrew S. McMann tell it, being sent to the Air Force Theater Hospital here simply gave him the free time he needed to re-enlist.

He didn't mention the real reason he was in the hospital: that he'd just survived an IED explosion 48 hours before raising his right hand.

McMann, a squad leader with Company B, 321st Engineer Battalion, was leading 1st Platoon on a route clearance mission in the Adolous District of Ramadi on March 23 when the IED went off directly under his vehicle.

4. Hey, as long as you don't need a power chair, you're OK to re-enlist.
A warm body is "a warm body." Cannon fodder for the "political elites" to play war with their fancy Jets, Weapon Systems and The Boat Club (The Navy). :puke:

6. Methinks the U.S. MIC
has developed the most awesome brainwashing techniques ever devised by man. Combine them with "American exceptionalism" and any hope of critical thinking is consigned to the dustbin, save for those few "elites" whose personal history, education and constitution enable them to stand up and speak the truth without regard to TPTB who will in every instance attempt to crush them for doing so.

Kevin Benderman and Ehren Watada, among others, are MY HEROES.
