Some questions that have bothered me |
|
I have been hanging around here, at least as a lurker, for about 9-10 years now. I've read most everything of a serious nature here for years - and probably more silly stuff - but I still have a few questions that remain unanswered.
1) Why does our society value a flashy liar over an honest citizen?
2) Why does the 'media' treat truth and lies like a game of blackjack?
3) Why do I feel like a genius when I read the newspaper?
I appreciate any input I can get on these questions. I humbly await my education.

1) Because "honest citizens" are boring. 2) Because the official story is agreed on before the story's told. 3) Because you found out about it a week earlier right here at DU!
