Polar Bear SOS Banner

I should have been off to the post office - will not make it now before they close - but I thought it was more important to do this. Originally I had red text, as a warning color, but it didn't show up against the background as well as the yellow. The model is Knut, the polar bear cub from the Berlin Zoo, and I tried for a bit of a "life preserver" effect in the image.

I signed up to participate....

going through seeing all the offshore drilling approved by congress made me sick, just though $ at the state and they will sell their children.

I am so heartbroken by the Polar Bear and our dying planet,:cry:

7. I doubt it.

They're adapted to a very specific climate and lifestyle, and they couldn't be transplanted to, say, the wilds of central California to make a life for themselves there. (Completely aside from the problems you always get when you add non-native species to an environment where they didn't evolve.) It's basically save the Arctic, or they don't stand a chance - outside of perhaps in zoos.
