Scientology "mounts offensive" in Europe |
|
Scientology has started a new propaganda offensive in Europe, opening new offices in capitals across the continent. German authorities are responding by increasing their efforts to monitor the controversial organization. It'll be interesting to see the progress on this one. http://rawstory.com/showoutarticle.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spiegel.de%2Finternational%2F0%2C1518%2C473896%2C00.html

1. Let them open up their "churches" (in reality, offices) |
|
If you want to use religion as a gimmick to shield net income from taxation or if you're like all these churches that try to inject politics into the pulpit, then maybe it's time to remove the tax-exempt status of religious organizations and end the abuse of that tax-exempt status for all.

4. No, the treatment should be consistent regardless of political bent. |
|
If religious institutions want to inject themselves into politics, then they should be free to do so, but they should have to pay taxes like everybody else.

All I know they are not war mongers, so I would rather listen to their platform that the religious right.

8. if they believe that aliens infiltrated the human spirit |
|
David Ike's says Cheney is not human, that makes sense to me.
I don't want to sound like a:tinfoilhat: but there have been numerous books written from ex military, claiming that the US has been working with these creatures for decades.
many cultures throughout the centuries were well aware of these beings.
but according to some of the writes, guess who the military decided to work with, the really bad ones.
it's silly to me to think that we are the only ones in the Universe, Awhile back got starting reading numerous authors about the subject.

9. If you want to know why scientologists are bad |
|

...check out a site called 'clambake' (not sure of addy). The scientologists have a philosophy of superiority that would make Leo Strauss proud. Basically they believe you can do anything you want including lying and physical abuse to a non-scientologist because non-scientologists are considered somehow inferior. There's a lot more. Hubbard had connections to OSS and Naval Intelligence and he and his people play real dirty politics in several Florida cities (what IS it about FL?)... Scientology is a form of mind control and as such it's very scary. Right up there with ol' Rev. Moon....
On edit: They ARE NOT PACIFISTS, I repeat, NOT PACIFISTS. These guys are armed and dangerous, don't be fooled by that idiot Tom Cruise...

12. Brings to mind an ex-boyfriend who hooked up with a scientologist after we broke up... |
|
Her picture is in the Oxford dictionary as an illustration meant to aid the definition of FREAK. She was total bitch. He eventually dumped her and came back to guess who... BHN

noise during birth! Thats just wrong to me. Supposedly its a bad influence or something on the child. Really to me scientology is a cult just one step up from those tin hat folk who killed themselves to hitch a ride on the Hale-Bopp comet:tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat:
