3. It's past time for Hillary Clinton to resign.
The Mexican government levying tarriffs, the embarassment with the reset button, and now this AIG business, which is an international corporation started in China, is clear evidence that she's dragging down this democrat "administration" and needs to go.

4. Anybody who didn't expect Obama to govern as a very moderate liberal
was fooling themselves.

11. It's more a case of those who realize that it doesn't boil down to a "him"
The current "him" is (although an historic presidency due to his ethnicity) in all likelihood just another tailored puppet heading up an oligarchy that masquerades via propaganda and cultural indoctrination as a representative democracy.

I mean, of course, many vote for lesser of the evils, and I've nothing against that, or Obama as an individual ... but I'm not so blind as to overlook the obvious: politicians are liars who serve their corporate pay masters, not We The People.

13. Pretty pathetic, isn't it? The small cadre who will only rest if Nader or Kucinich were Prez...
the funny thing is, a President Kucinich, faced with the same intricate and dirty details upon entering the WH would probably govern in the same manner.

Nader....well, let's just say the thought of him as President :scared: me, so I can't even contemplate it!

7. So are you saying
anyone who is not happy with some of the things he is doing is calling him a failure? Is this a "if you are not with us you are against us"type of post. A black or white thinking type of thought?

9. Nope. It's a mockery of precisely that.
I mock the failure junkies and the chronically disappointed.

10. It is not that Obama is a "failure", not even close. It's just that, given
Edited on Wed Mar-18-09 12:18 PM by tom_paine
what 30 years of Bushonomics and BushPutinism (Inverted Totalitarianism) has done to this country make anything less than a "near perfect" defense of our Constitution and nation, a "failure".

NOTE: It goes without saying that every reference to "Obama" or "him" or any other first-person pronoun stands in for the Obama Administration.

It's not his fault that he came along when the United States of America was so near to permanent destruction due to 30 years of unbroken wealth consolidation, corporatization, and de-Constitutionalization (I just made that up but it describes the process of Bushification quite nicely).

PLUS, he is saddled with a military and law enforcement that is still Bushified, which will work to undermine him, as LE did with it's ACORN Bushiganda Ops and suppressing the Knoxville Shooter's hideous and very commonplace sentiments until the story had gone long cold.

This is extralegal maneuvering that has nothing to do with Obama, but like the M$M assaults, he is powerless against unless he recognizes that the Bushies, like the Nazis they supported in the 1930, are playing a different game then politics.

Not Obama's fault to be rising to power NOW, when all is just about lost, but what it does mean is that anything less than a full and vigorous prosecution of Bushie-Nazi criminals, as well as a restoration of our System of Checks and Balances, and SOON, means Bushification/Nazificatuion will likely win in the long-term, as it plays on a different field altogether.

That's not Obama's fault. It's what IS.
