That bugs me. The president is not an emperor. The attorneys serve at the pleasure of the prez, with the oversight of the over two branches. It doesn't say "pleasure of the president" anywhere in the constitution. That means the appointments must pass the same muster as every other branch to branch relationship. The Professor
