I tried to watch Will Farrell's one man show called You're Welcome America |
|
and while I applaud him in his effort to make sure Dumbya's legacy is accurately represented, it's just too soon for me. I found myself getting angry all over again - and it's supposed to be comedy!
I'll try again later.

And it'll take almost as long to get used to the fact that we're not living in a neocon state anymore. It seemed never ending. When I heard the vice president mentioned recently, I automatically cringed and felt my stomach tightening, expecting more brazen lies, and then I remembered...

3. I watched the HBO movie, |
|
"Recount," and barely got through it. After, I was sorry I had watched it.
I saw snippets of Ferrell's show - I love the guy - but, Fuckface isn't funny. I don't know that he's ever going to be funny.
Same reason I won't watch "W". I just don't want to acknowledge that prick's presence on this earth .......................

8. I couldn't watch Recount either |

It just made me too angry, but I was laughing myself sick at "You're Welcome America", I love anything that presents dickhead as the petulant moron he is.

7. I'd like to laugh at Bush, as I do at Hitler (=contempt) |

Problem is, Will is about as funny as a third Bush term. :scared:

He was an awful president. I'm glad he's gone, now I don't want to see him, hear him, or think about him ever again, unless he is brought up on war crimes charges.

14. I couldn't watch it either, but my opinion of the few minutes I did see |
|
wasn't very good. I didn't think the impersonation was all that good and it wasn't very funny. Maybe it gets better as it goes along.

15. I hung out for about 20 minutes and there were a couple of laugh spots |
|
but it was just such an honest appraisal of that idiots fucktardedness that I found myself getting angry and I don't watch comedy to get angry. It's the same reason I refuse to watch The Office - it's just too real to be funny.

16. I turned it off in less than 10 minutes - its sucked out loud |
|
I didn't see a single funny thing in it and to be quite honest about it if that guy's a comedian then there is no reason to hire any more of them because its a dead profession. He was simply terrible. Dam shame, someone who knew what they were doing could have made a good comedy piece out of it.
