1. Welfare queens.

I only say that jokingly, but it does remind me of the old anecdotes, some true, some false, about people on welfare.

The story goes that someone on welfare is cheating the system and when asked about it, the person says, "It's only government money." The response: "But WE'RE the government."

Honestly this old story is an interesting contrast to the current stories where billionaires are ripping us off for trillions. That includes the guy who has a comfy job at the auto dealer, even though he's not a billionaire.

3. Maybe I missed it, but didn't Obma only suggest

that to ensure consumer confidence, the government would guarantee automobile warranties should the company go bust? I thought that's what I read.

that Obama bailed out the banking industry without any concessions or caveats, and won't do the same for the auto industry. And they have a right to be pissed.
