i'm watching BBC for American news right now
maybe I'm late in the game on this one, but I've never watched it before.
I knew about it, but never watched it for some reason.
I'm so annoyed with american news, and having to "filter" it...I thought I would try it.

it seems to be pretty good. I'll keep watching to see how they do.

1. It is much better. I watch the PBS broadcast every night
and while they do a great job with the American stories, you find out so much more about what is going on around the world.

Their international coverage puts every network and cable channel to shame.

3. WorldFocus gloabal news program

I'm watching the global news program called "WorldFocus" on one of the 2 PBS stations here in Chicago.

It's a very good news program.

Their website is:

http://worldfocus.org/

Watch it if you find it or watch online.

2. We watch BBC world news, too. It's very refreshing, isn't it?
My husband watches several programs regularly on BBC, too. He likes Gordon Ramsey's "Kitchen Nightmares" & another, "Last Restaurant Standing".

4. BBC America is the way to go. That is what we watch.
It is nice to have mature reporting, not this sensationalism and childishness that we get here and on my local news.

9. I think my wife has a thing for Matt.
As serious as their news is, it's something like a soap opera in our house.

11. I watch BBC News every afternoon, after Amy Goodman in Democracy Now! and
Bill Moyers Journal on Fridays. The news coverage is pretty good on all three shows and BBC shines in giving international news and stories of interest.
