I have not logged-in, much less posted, in years, but I read DU obsessively.

I ALWAYS look for AL's posts on history as they are always fascinating and well chosen, and the discussions tend to be a wealth of knowledge.

I'm not sure if she or he is busy, away, or drifted off, but, if nothing else, I wanted to come in from the shadows to voice my appreciation for the posts.

There are many superbly intelligent posters here and it is a delight to read these forums, and not just for political sniping. If one of you goes missing, this troll's gonna turn on the lights and look in all the closets, attics, and crawl-spaces to find you. n2doc, TechBear_Seattle, Are_grits_groceries, Nance Gregg are on that list.
