Dissecting Dick Cheney

He’s baaack!

Well, sort of. Actually Dick Cheney never really went far away since his vice-presidential term expired in January. In a recent interview with CNN’s John King, he showed us – again – that he remains in the delusional world from which he helped lead the country over a cliff.

This modest man whom George W. Bush called upon in 2000 to find him a running mate, and who fulfilled the chore by humbly looking into his mirror, mirror on the wall, seeking assurance that he was the most prescient of them all, treated us to preaching variations of the fiction he spread when he was in office. It’s fascinating how Cheney, a man who was wrong so often, can presume to be authoritative while he denigrates the new leaders who are earnestly steering the nation away from the disastrous policies of the past eight years.
