I am so disgusted by what I witnessed during the hearings today and yesterday.
I've always known these are despicable people, but their total disregard for the rule of law and sociopathic dishonesty is simply appalling. Yeah, there were only two on the stands, but the Republics questioning them, with a few exceptions, were just as bad. They are rotten to the core. I never fully appreciated how diseased and putrid the Republic Party has become.

It is as if a person with gangrene suddenly raised his pant's leg, unleashing a sight and stench so gross one can never forget the experience.

I really need a long shower and calming meditation after enduring two days of this repulsive 'Republics on the hot seat' spectacle. God help our country if they ever regain full power again.

1. Repubbies probably had the talking points memo
The repubs were like defense lawyers and the dems were the prosecutors.

12. they are all unqualified, and incompetent, from Brownie, Gonzales,
Chertoff, even Libby, soft spoken pre pubity boys, and they kiss the ring of Rove, Cheney and Bush, not so different from the mob.

20. That's a good point
In the fantasy world of the Repubs, responsibility is supposed to be their shining example to the world of their moral superiority.

And yet, from Reagan to Libby to Rove, their standard response has been, "Well, you know, I'd like to answer your question and I've been racking my brain trying to come up with an answer, but.....(shrug)"

Yeah, right. I'm sure we'll be using their examples of "personal responsibility" in Sunday school.

They're an inspiration to us all.

5. I share your sick
Could you imagine if the Dems had used a government office to give a power point presentation on targeting reThugs. It just boggles the mind. It would be on every media outlet, from the national news to cable to local papers to community shopping sheets. I just can't get over how low these people are and how the media seems to be so willing to help them along.

7. Yes, and amnesia seems to be a neo-con disease.
I'm watching Kyle Sampson now on a repeat of today's testimony. I wonder why he volunteered to testify when he doesn't remember anything? What was the purpose of this?

I get the impression that if he is telling the truth, what happened when he arrived at his job was that no one told him what he was supposed to to. So he sat at his desk and did nothing, saw nothing, heard nothing and knows nothing.

Absolutely amazing.

11. It's hard to decide who is the most repulsive among them all.
Those two certainly are at the top of the list.

I can't imagine how anybody with a shred of decency would call him/herself a Republic.

15. I stopped watching anything political
I finally got fed up. Watching those lowlifes and their blatant criminal activities and them getting by with it day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year, made me get to the point where I was having angry out bursts, cussing like a sailor and hating every repuke in sight that I said enough is enough.I can't tell you how much this has helped me. I hate those people with all my heart and soul. These so called investigations and hearings is a freakin joke. Both parties are in corruption up to their eyeballs...but the repukes are way worse than anything I've ever seen in my lifetime. Both parties bitch about each other during the day and party their asses off together at night. How can we ever get this country back on the right track when there is no one to really do it?

The way everyone sucks up to Bu$h and his butt buddy KKKarl Rove is as sickening as it could possibly get. My husband asked me a while ago if I heard what Andrew Sullivan said and I asked him "about what"? Sullivan said the Bu$h bastards had it all planned out to take control of BOTH parties and make it ONE if the war had went the way they wanted it to. And we know what party that would be,don't we? Yes,I am sick of them all. I have been thinking real hard about voting again. I don't think I can take much more anger and disapointment. :banghead:

18. geez, just a suggestion don't say you'll never vote again, this
is what exactly they want, they want the American people to turn away so they can continue doing what they are doing. I understand your frustration, but, if the people give into this dominance we forfeit everything.

22. I am sick of the way they buddy up to one another
I want to vote for people who will go up AGAINST the repuke agenda.......not give in to them because of "how it might look" if they didn't. Khrist, why can't they grow some balls? They can't even vote against the funding for the ILLEGITMATE war. Just give the bastard a blank check AGAIN cause "they don't want to make themselves look like they are against the troops". Blaa blaaa blaaa....tow the republican line, that's all they know how to do. Like a bunch of trained seals. :puke:

then the spectacle is fine with me. I just want everybody to remember that smell for a very long time.

21. Sampson sounds like a complete incompetant
he remembers nothing
he never tried a case except one in Florida
he threw away his notes and charts
doesn't get what the questions are about
hasn't brought any notes or documents

yeah, it sounds like he was rambling around the WH without a clue.
