Aaaaw.. How sweet.. Our precious widdle media is growing up..

Apparently they have had an epiphany, and they've discovered protesters & demonstrators..

For EIGHT LONG YEARS, our previous president was dogged by protesters EVERYWHERE he went,, sometimes MILLIONS of them (in the run up to war)..and worldwide.

These events came jam-packed with burning effigies, (sometimes burning flags), rude puppets, angry people, placards of all sizes and sentiment, and yet..until NOW, the media saw fit to "cover" these events as a "few hundred hippies, malcontents and attention-seekers"..and of little consequence.

Hundreds of thousands of people traveled thousands of miles to converge, in protest, and maybe a station here and there might show 30 seconds of the most outrageous protester, and then they would make a pouty-face, and return to the important stuff.. like "Where in the World is Natalee Holloway?".."How many pills did Anna Nicole take?".. "Missing girl in Florida Part 1..and then Part II.

They tried their darnedest to AVOID coverage, and when the print media covered it, it was often on page G-33, with a grainy long-shot photo.

But no more.. We have a constant split-screen, and much running commentary on the protests..and how they may affect President Obama's visit.

Genoa was a free-for all primer for the foreknowledge of 9-11, and yet it was even portrayed as "nothing to see here folks, move along". Apparently the plans to keep *² buttonholed on a ship ..away from TALL BUILDINGS THAT PLANES MIGHT FLY INTO, was slightly covered at the time, but fully discounted/forgotten about , when 3 months later their fears were realized in Manhattan..

It would be really interesting if they dug through their old file footage, and compared the protests they never covered, with the ones they are in love with now.. I think they might surprise themselves ...

1. M$Greedia can spin all they like
Thousands of anti-capitalist and climate change protesters are taking part in a series of demonstrations in London to coincide with the G20 summit.

BBC is saying this over and over.
Thousands of people are on the streets.

In fact the protests are more against corporations like M$Greedia than they are against Obama.

7. Won't work
Nothing they've been saying on M$Greedia matters. Check the polls. People aren't stupid.

5. Yea really. If it weren't for the internet, I'd never known so many protested against
that cowardly, pos war criminal and that's just on the domestic side.

I can't remember EVER seeing global protests.

Now all of a sudden, protesters magically appear out of thin air, all over the tv screen and the media is cackling like a bunch of old hens over the *gasp*, protesters".

:nuke:
