Tweety is so fucking clueless...
Edited on Wed Apr-01-09 04:54 PM by PCIntern
But we knew that...

Michelle Bernard repeated the phrase that Michelle Obama is "Jackie-O, 2.0, and Tweety had NO IDEA what the frame of reference was "Please explain..." he said....then Bernard awkwardly tried...but you can't explain the notion of "2.0" in 4 words or fewer, and Tweety only allows 4 words...

He had no idea...

THEN he said that George W. Bush also "liked his wife"....

WTF..,.I mean...WTF?

1. Is he on some sort of medication that perhaps lets guests get out
5 words instead of 4 before he cuts them off??

2. He is always 100% worthless
He's never offered any insight that wasn't offered previously and expressed better. Occasionally threads pop up here lauding him for his acumen, and I frankly don't get it.

He adds no value to any discussion. Even as an entertainer, he's useless.

5. I agree
He demonstrates no aptitude for his chosen field - at all. He's the worst interviewer I've ever seen. He has no filter and no patience for anyone talking who isn't him.

4. It must be Wednesday!
On Tuesdays and Fridays he's brilliant...or so I have inferred from reading hereabouts.

6. that entire segment was weird...and hilarious
I had visions of Tweety with his hair in rollers, a facial mask on, and painting his nails while gossiping with his best friends at a sleepover. "Let's talk about GLAMOUR!!!" :eyes: He morphed into a pre-teen girl.

7. Am I the only one who doesn't see anything in common between the two first ladies?
Maybe it's just because Jackie was before my time?

She was certainly charming and a good wife and mother, but that's about it. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this.

Michelle is so much more.

9. You are Corregidor....
Edited on Wed Apr-01-09 04:56 PM by PCIntern
If I were to write that Michelle Obama was raised to marry a rich man as was her sister and most of the women before her in that family, speak in the most ridiculous voice ever imagined, run away to have a relationship with a Greek billionaire, only come back b/c her husband threatened to divorce her, I'd catch some flak here...

8. He has moments of brilliance, when he slams a Republican for their bullshit.
But they are few and far between. He won't shut up and allow his guest to answer his question. He just keeps talkingtalkingtalkingtalkingslobberingtalkingtalking.

That's one of the reasons I like Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. They ask educated questions, then they shut up and LISTEN to the response. And by doing so, viewers can HEAR the response.

17. Yes but
Chris usually has 2 people on R or D where as Keith and Rachel usually have one at a time. I always hate it when the Repuke gets to do all the talking on Tweety's show, and then they run out of time.

10. Someday, when I'm really bored, I'm going to search DU
for all the times I've said something to the effect that just because Tweety said something we like today doesn't mean that he'll be our friend tomorrow. Or, maybe to make it simple, I'll only search for how many times I've said I'll do that search. If I had a dollar for each time, forget the bailout...

Reading DU occasionally feels like I am Phil in Bill Murrary's Groundhog Day.

11. I, for one, have NEVER EVER
said that Tweety's OK...I'm one fo those who watched him play both ends agaisnt the middle prior to the Iraq War....and complained about it. Here, many said that he was anti-War...and that was just horseshit.

16. What got me was his Stevens coverage
Just because Holder dropped the case doesn't mean that Stevens isn't guilty as hell, it means that the Bush Justice department prosecuted the case badly, no suprise there.

18. Sorry .. I'm with Tweety. What is 2.0, a GPA?
I thought maybe 2.0 referred to a GPA. A 2.0 was OK at Auburn (3-point grading), but wouldn't get you a sheepskin at Georgia Tech (4-point grading).

BTW: Who is/was Michelle Bernard's father? I heard a reference recently to her "famous" father.
